It’s been revealed that Letitia Wright is set to rejoin the set of Black Panther 2 (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) in January. This news comes to us from The Hollywood Reporter.
Honestly, I do not understand what’s been going on with Letitia Wright and her reported shenanigans on the Black Panther 2 set. It had been reported that she was trying to convince her colleagues not to get the COVID-19 vaccination.
These reports became so widespread that Letitia had to come out and publically say that they were not true. Before those reports, Wright got herself into hot water after sharing an anti-vaxxer video on her Twitter account.
The backlash against her got so bad that she ended up deleting her Twitter account and she also reportedly fired her PR team. I have to add that that particular story was never officially confirmed.

Production on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was then put on halt after all of that due to an increased number of COVID-19 cases on set. There were even some rumours that Wright was one of the cast members who had contracted the virus.
However, those rumours were also never confirmed, so all this has been a lot of hearsay and it sounds like Wright just became something of a punching bag for people.
Anyway, it’s now being reported that production on Black Panther 2 will start again in January and Letitia Wright will be joining the cast. So, this means that she hasn’t been fired from the movie by Disney.
That was the other rumour we’d been hearing – that Disney had fired Wright from Black Panther 2. That would have been a rather big thing to do given the reports that Wright’s MCU character, Shuri, is all set to become the next Black Panther after Chadwick Boseman’s passing.
