Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is getting so close to release. It’s literally days away from release and we’re still not entirely sure whether Kevin Smith is going to cameo in the Star Wars movie or not.
However, both Kevin and the film’s director J.J. Abrams – who are good friends – keep on dropping hints that he may or may not be in the movie.
Now, I’m pretty sure that Kevin will be in the film because it’s well-reported that he was on-set for five days and I’m certain that he would have done some filming whilst he was there.
Anyway, Abrams was discussing the possible Kevin Smith Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker cameo with Kevin McCarthy, and he asked him whether the rumours were true.
Sounds like Kevin Smith will make a cameo appearance in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

Here’s what Abrams had to say on the matter:
In fairness, when Kevin was there, and he may or may not be in the film — I’m not going to say; I’m just going to say he may or may not appear in the film. When Kevin was there, I know that I was in the middle of what was, as it was for the entire shoot, a bit of just mad distraction. There were 8 million things going on. This very well may have happened exactly as you described.
It really does seem as though Abrams here is teasing that the Kevin Smith Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker cameo is a reality, and if so, then it means that Smith has achieved ultimate geek status by appearing in the ultimate geek movie.
Abrams has some more lovely things to say about his good friend Smith, notably about the man’s new incredible physique.
