Marvel President, Kevin Feige has revealed that X-Men movie discussions have been, as he put it, “long and ongoing”. He revealed this during an interview with Screen Rant.
Feige’s really been doing the rounds of late. It seems like he’s been talking to everyone, and he’s had quite a bit to say about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He most recently spoke about the future of the X-Men movies which are now going to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This happened after Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which meant that Marvel got the rights to the X-Men and Deadpool properties back, to name but a few. He recently opened up about what’s been going on with the X-Men movies over at Marvel since they got the movie rights back.

Here’s what Kevin Feige told Screen Rant about the future of the X-Men movies at Marvel Studios:
You know how much I love the X-Men. I already said that’s where I started. I can’t tell you anything before we actually announced it, but rest assured, the discussions have been long and ongoing internally.
This definitely makes it sound as if Kevin Feige has a lot of plans for the X-Men in the MCU and they’re currently trying to work out how to do these films well. They want to make sure they’re doing the characters justice.
