Kevin Feige has confirmed in Disney’s Investor Day presentation that they will not be replacing Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa in Black Panther 2. He revealed this last night, and it’s great news.
There had been a lot written about what they were going to be doing after the terrible news that Chadwick Boseman had very sadly passed away. There were a number of outlets suggesting that Marvel Studios was going to be replacing Chadwick Boseman in the upcoming Black Panther 2.
However, it was revealed last night by Kevin Feige himself that they would not be replacing Boseman in the movie. He also added that Ryan Coogler is also hard at work on Black Panther 2.

What Kevin Feige didn’t say was whether Letitia Wright will be stepping into to take over the Black Panther mantle in the movie. I’ve heard rumoured that the mantle of Black Panther might be shared between Shuri and M’Baku in the movie.
That sounds like the most logical thing to do, and I’m pretty sure that’s what they will do in the movie, especially now that Kevin Feige revealed that they would not be replacing Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa in the movie. I’m really looking forward to seeing what they do with this film. It’s really important for them to do it right and do Boseman justice in the film.
