The Tibet House U.S Benefit Concert is an event that will bring money for the Tibet House U.S.
All proceeds from the event are expected to be put towards ensuring the survival of Tibetan culture.
According to Taiwan’s Central News Agency, the boycott of Matrix Resurrections has been called because of Reeves’s support for Tibet.
Tibet is currently controlled by the People’s Republic of China.
As such, the Chinese government have not taken kindly to Reeves’s involvement in this event.
This is not the first time this sort of thing’s happened to an actor.
There have even been cases on actors having to apologies to the Chinese government for saying something that upset them.
John Cena is a good example of that, who apologised in perfect Mandarin for having referred to Taiwan as a county.
