Entertainment 360, a talent management company, has parted ways with Marvel actor Jonathan Majors following allegations of domestic violence. Last month it was reported that the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor was arrested on March 25, 2023, because of his altercation with an unidentified woman. His lawyer Priya Chaundry has said that the actor is entirely innocent.
This incident seems to have made a domino effect which appeared to have revealed much more about his past. The actor has been getting projects left and right in the past few years. It seems as though the actor has a long history of violence way before his rise to stardom.
While nothing has been proven, the actor has been released without bail. He is set to come to court on May 8 regarding multiple counts of harassment and assault.
Jonathan Majors Splits With Entertainment 360

Deadline reports that Entertainment 360 has dropped the Marvel actor. Another talent agency, Lede Company, also did the same last month.
Ever since the arrest, Jonathan Majors has experienced a downturn in project developments. Starting with the extensive program from the US Army, his involvement in the ad campaign has been pulled. These were followed by other projects entering a state of limbo for the actor, particularly those under the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Prior to the eventful night, Majors was on a smooth running to be the main big bad of the developing Multiverse Saga of Marvel Studios’ Phase 5 and 6. He was already introduced as Kang in Phase 4, Loki Season 1. And in the latest movie that launched Phase 5, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, hordes of him have been shown by the end.
A Dennis Rodman biopic was also in the works to include the Creed III actor, but recently, that project also removed him from the cast of characters.
The actor’s lawyer, Priya Chaundry, stressed that the situation would be sorted out and that her client was completely innocent. Chaundry shared text messages from the woman whom Jonathan Majors allegedly assaulted, as it appears that she is in a relationship with the actor. Abc7chicago posts the following messages that the lawyer shared:
They assured me that you won’t get charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight.
I’m so sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone.
I reiterated how this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing on any charges being placed. I read the paper they gave me about strangulation, and I said point blank this did not occur and should be removed immediately.
Upon sharing the above messages with the public, people have dissected the implications and what they believe to be deeper than what was going on between Majors and his girlfriend. Instead of convincing people he is innocent, some are saying that the messages are red flags of an abusive relationship. Some people online are also sceptical as to the authenticity of the messages.
Jonathan Major’s Role In Marvel Is In Doubt

Currently, there are no announcements regarding Jonathan Major’s role in Marvel. His role as Kang the Conqueror has several projects affected within the franchise. He has already shot scenes for his role in Loki Season 2 and is set to reprise his role in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
It has been reported by Jeff Sneider from The Hot Mic Podcast that Marvel is already looking for a possible replacement with the option for Majors to return. Sneider said:
And again, even though there hasn’t been any movement on the Jonathan Majors front, I’ve heard that’s the kind of actor, who, like, if Jonathan Majors got the boot as Kang, someone like Damson Idris is the type of the person that [Marvel] may look at to replace him if that, in fact, happens.
But it could all depend on how the court proceedings would turn out. It seems that Disney and Marvel are trying to hold their decision until the last minute. However, it is now undeniable that this situation has hurt Jonathan Majors’ career like a mammoth blow. Until he is fully deemed innocent by the court, people will have second thoughts about working with him.
What is more unfortunate is that sometimes, even if one is truly innocent, the fact that the involvement in such a situation happened already stains how people will perceive them professionally. Let’s hope that Majors’ recovers from this if only for all the hard work he has done to get to where he is now.
Still, all is not lost for Jonathan Majors. WME Agency still represents the actor in the industry.
