Johnny Depp Is Dating One Of His Lawyers

Johnny Depp is dating one of his former lawyers! The actor has been flying under the radar of late. Basically, ever since he won his defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, the actor has been getting back to work. He’s been filming a movie in France called Jeanne du Barry in which he’s playing King Louis XV. He also appeared on stage with Jeff Beck at some of his concerts.

However, as far as Depp’s private life’s concerned, it’s been rather quiet. He’s been keeping himself to himself, and I think that’s a great thing for the actor. Well, we’re now hearing reports that Depp might have found love again. It’s been revealed by US Weekly that Depp is currently dating Joelle Rich.

Rich is a British solicitor who was part of the team who represented Johnny Depp during his 2018 libel suit against News Group Newspapers. This was during the case in which Depp tried to sue The Sun for libel after they referred to him as a “wife-beater” in one of their articles. The article in question was written by Dan Wootton, who’s seemingly got away with the whole thing. Wootton is now working for GB News as a political commentator (for some reason), so that should really tell you what you need to know about the man.

Anyway, even though Depp lost that libel trial, he seemingly found love in his former solicitor on the case, Joelle Rich. Neither Johnny Depp nor Joelle Rich has publicly commented on whether they are in a relationship or not. We have to make it very clear that Rich did not represent Depp during his defamation trial against Heard in Fairfax, Virginia. That said, Rich did appear several times during the course of the trial as support for Johnny Depp. She even made a photo appearance with the Pirates Of The Caribbean star at one point.

US Weekly’s report also states that Joelle Rich was married at the time she met Johnny Depp. She has two children with her husband. However, she had filed for divorce from her husband. Even though Depp lost the libel case in which Joelle Rich and others defended him, it seems as though his life is back on track. During that case, the British judge ruled that Amber Heard’s claims of domestic abuse (which were printed by The Sun) were “substantially true.”

After that ruling was made public, Joelle Rich questioned it in the press. She stated that Depp would be going to the United States to clear his name and wrap the matter up once and for all. That is exactly what the actor ended up doing.

So, now we’re seeing Depp acting again, which is great. However, it’s not been the same story for Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard. She’s been struggling to get work in Hollywood, and it’s even been suggested that Warner Bros. Pictures is trying to minimise her time in Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom as much as they possibly can. We’re going to have to wait and see what ends up happening regarding her on-screen time in the movie. However, reports suggest that her role as Mera has been significantly reduced.
