John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’s new trailer has finally arrived, and it sees Keanu Reeves kick some serious butt.
John Wick is back… again. This time it’ll be his very last time killing hoards of assassins, or at least, he thinks it will be.
John Wick has been kicking butt and taking names for two movies now, and thanks to the film’s new trailer it looks like they’ve really cranked things up for the third, and supposedly final film.
The film sees Reeves return to the titular role, and it was a role he was literally born to play.
The John Wick franchise plays to all of his strength: incredible fight scenes, minimum dialogue and effortless style.
John Wick will now have to go down in history as one of the best action movie characters ever made, alongside the likes of James Bond, Ethan Hunt and Jason Bourne.
John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum will see the stakes higher than ever before.
Wick is now ‘excomunicado’, and there’s been a $14 million bounty put on his head.
This means that the world’s most dangerous assassins will be after him, and Wick will have to be at his very best to fend them off.
Hopefully, viewers will get to see more of that incredible gun-fu action on-screen which the first films did so well.
It’s an unusual fighting style, made famous thanks to such films as Equilibrium and the John Wick movies.
Parabellum means prepare for war in Latin, so it’s safe to say that this film will be more of a war film than the others, and it could, therefore, be the most action-packed of the lot.
It’ll see the return of the likes of Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Laurence Fishburne, yet they’ll also be some new additions.
Halle Berry is playing Sofia – probably John Wick’s only ally in this film.
She’ll be joined by Game of Thrones’ Jerome Flynn, Gotham’s Robin Lord Taylor and Jason Mantzoukas as a mysterious character called The Tick Tock Man.
