John Krasinski may have just revealed during the recent episode of Some Good News that he’s been cast in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.
Krasinski started off the episode of SGN by going through some very interesting fan art of him done by the show’s viewers.
One of the pictures was a four-panel comic book in which John Krasinski’s pictured as a kind of fairy bringing people nothing but good news.
This was when Krasinski made a joke about himself in the comic strip claiming that it was the closest he’d ever get to playing a comic book hero.
He also made a pretty big deal out of the comic strip being ‘four’ panels.
Here’s what he said in the episode of SGN: “And finally there is this four-paneler, which I have to appreciate as it will be the closest I ever get to playing a comic book hero.”
He really does seem be making a pretty big hint that he might be in the next Fantastic Four movie.

If he were to be cast in the movie, there’s only one role he could play: Mr. Fantastic (a.k.a. Reed Richards).
There have been rumours that Marvel wants to cast him in the role for ages now.
One of the main reasons why they might want him is because he’s pretty much perfect for the role.
He could also direct the movie, and he could get his wife, Emily Blunt, to star alongside him as Susan Storm (a.k.a. The Invisible Woman).
They’ve worked together before on A Quiet Place and their next movie, A Quiet Place Part 2 will be coming out later this year (hopefully).
There’s also the fact that Reed Richards in the latest Marvel comics looks an awful lot like Krasinski.
Krasinski has an interesting history with Marvel movie.
He was almost cast as Captain America before Chris Evans got the role.
