John Boyega Wants To Be In The Live-Action Avatar: The Last Airbender TV Show

John Boyega has revealed that he wants to be involved in the upcoming live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender TV show which is in development.

This was a really interesting bit of news which came from a twitter conversation between John Boyega and Giancarlo Volpe.

Volpe is an animator, director, producer and comic creator and was involved in making the Avatar: The Last Airbender TV show on Nickelodeon.

There has been news prior to this that a live-action version of the show is in the works.

So, we know this and then there was a video that made the rounds in which Dev Patel could be heard saying that The Last Airbender movie was “shit”.

Boyega then retweeted the video in which Patel could be heard saying this with the caption: “Lmaooooooooooooooo”.

Volpe then commented, saying: “Hmmm this tweet implies John Boyega watched the original show and that makes me sorta excited”.

Boyega then retweeted this adding the comment: “When you lot are ready to have the benders in Africa explored let me know!”

So, it seems as though John Boyega is pretty keen on being in the upcoming live-action The Last Airbender TV series.

Honestly, that would be so cool because Boyega is a great actor.

There hasn’t been any casting news surrounding this series yet.

So, perhaps they’ve already cast Boyega in a role and this is him teasing that bit of news.
