J.K. Simmons has revealed that he’s very confident he will return as J. Jonah Jameson in the MCU and in another Spider-Man movie.
There is no one better in the world of Hollywood (or in the world for that matter) than J.K. Simmons for the role of J. Jonah Jameson.
I loved his cameo apperance at the very end of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
They’ve updated the character to be less like Rupert Murdoch and more like Alex Jones which makes perfect sense.
He turns up at the very end of Far From Home and outs Peter Parker as Spider-Man.
He also claims that Spider-Man is responsible for Mysterio’s death.
This is a great twist and I’m dying to see more of this new version of Jameson.
I also loved the fact that they brought back J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson.
He played the character in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies and he is perfect for the role.

Anyway, J.K. Simmons recently revealed in an interview with Collider that he’s pretty confident he will return as Jameson in the MCU.
There is a distinct chance, there have been discussions, and I’m not going to say anything definitive [laughter] because I don’t know if I’m allowed to. But yes, I’m very optimistic that I’ll have some more J.J.J. in my future.
That is really exciting and I hope he gets a pretty big role in the next Spider-Man movie.
Jameson in the comics, the previous movies and the animated TV shows hates Spider-Man.
He’ll be a pretty good foe for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to have to deal with and it’ll be really interesting to see how he scuttles out of the mess Jonah has put him in.
There have been rumours that both Doctor Strange and Daredevil might turn up to help Peter out.
