Jesse Plemons might be in talks for a villain role in an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, which I think would be perfect casting. This report comes to us via Giant Freakin Robot, and I’ve long thought that he would be a great addition to the MCU. However, it remains to be seen whether he and Marvel Studios end up working out some sort of deal.
Now, GFR’s report doesn’t reveal which role or movie the actor is in talks for. However, they do go on to theorise about which movie he could be turning up in. They mention Blade, Fantastic Four and the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series that’s coming to Disney Plus in the not-so-distant future.

Jesse Plemons has made a name for himself in Hollywood as being one of the best actors around. He’s been in so much stuff, and he’s always brilliant. I think the thing I remember best from is Breakin Bad. However, he’s great in movies such as Jungle Cruise in which he played the movie’s villain. He starred in that movie alongside Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.
He’s also terrific in The Power Of The Dog, Antlers, I’m Thinking Of Ending Things and the Fargo series. I’m really happy to hear that Marvel Studios is starting to take an interest in the actor. I genuinely believe that Plemons could be one of the best, creepiest and most impactful villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe should Marvel choose to cast the actor in a role.

Again, I have no information on which character the actor is reportedly up for. All we can do as far as that’s concerned is guess. I’ve seen a number of people suggest that he might be up for the Dr Doom role, which would be pretty incredible casting. I love the idea of seeing him as Bullseye in the Daredevil series. That’s something that I think fans of Daredevil and the actor would like to see.
Daredevil: Born Again is going to be an interesting future project. The series is coming out on Disney Plus, and it’s been revealed that it will be 18 episodes long, which will make this series the longer Marvel series made so far. This all comes after it was revealed that Deadpool 3 is going to see Hugh Jackman return as Wolverine for potentially one last time.
That news was revealed by Ryan Reynolds via his social media accounts, and I cannot wait to see Jackman and Reynolds turn up together in that movie. Could Plemons be up for a role in Deadpool 3? Now, that would be a terrific cast! Reynolds, Jackman and Plemons all in the same movie. That’s a film that I would go and see over and over again.
