Jeff Goldblum Riffing On Thor: Ragnarok’s Title Is The Best Thing You’ll See Today

During the current Thor: Ragnarok press tour Jeff Goldblum asked people on Twitter to explain ‘Ragnarok’ to him. Have a look at him read out one of the answers below.

Everybody loves Jeff Goldblum. He’s charming, witty, clever and hilarious. He’s become known for his rather unusual acting style, and even though it does seem as if he’s been playing the same character over and over again throughout his career, he always imbues his performances with a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’, a touch of class if you will. He’s just very watchable and highly loveable in everything he’s in, even if it’s in Independence Day: Resurgence or The Lost WorldJurassic Park.

Goldblum will be playing the Grandmaster in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok (great cast by the way), and he’s currently doing press for the movie. Goldblum is always a good laugh and during one of his interviews, he asked fans on Twitter to explain the word ‘Ragnarok’ to him. Of course, he has an understanding of the word from the comics (which I’m supposing he read..), but it’s a strange word nonetheless. Check him out reading one of the responses on Twitter below. It’s quintessential Goldblum.

Jeff Goldblum is brilliant. He’s always interesting to listen to and to watch on-screen. There’s never a dull moment when he’s around, and his addition to the MCU is a welcome one. The Grandmaster is one of the ageless Elders of the Universe and is a big fan of games, hence the Gladiatorial games he seems to have devised in Thor: Ragnarok. He’s also been depicted as The Collector’s brother in the comics, who also happens to be one of the Elder of the Universe.

I’m really looking forward to seeing a scene between Benicio Del Toro, who plays The Collector, and Goldblum in a future Marvel movie. You’d better be prepared for some a lot of quirky gestures and line delivers should that scene ever come to fruition.

Thor: Ragnarok comes out in the UK on October 27th. Are you ready for more Thor? Let us know in the comments below.
