James Gunn has teased that he might be working on more The Suicide Squad spinoff shows which is very exciting news indeed.
During a Q&A session, James Gunn did via his Instagram account (via ComicBook), he was asked whether he’d be working on any more The Suicide Squad spinoff shows.
His answer was pretty interesting.
He didn’t say yes or no, but rather opted for the word “maybe”.
To be specific, Gunn actually wrote: “Maaaaaaaaybe”, and then followed it up with a bunch of cheeky face emojis.
So, it seems as though James Gunn is already pretty much working on more The Suicide Squad spinoff shows, and I love that.
He’s already finishing up Peacemaker, which is his first The Suicide Squad spinoff series.
It sounds like he’s already thinking of which one he could do next.

I really and truly love the idea of getting to see James Gunn play in the DC Comics sandbox even more.
When I first heard that he would make a Peacemaker series, I couldn’t believe what I was reading.
It was then revealed that he started writing the scripts during lockdown.
Everything moved very fast on that show, and I’m pretty sure that DC Films and Warners will snap up any other ideas he has.
