James Gunn Reveals Baby Groot Said The F Word 50 Times in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Writer and director of Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn has revealed that Baby Groot said the F word at least 50 times in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

One of the best parts of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was Baby Groot.

He was just so cute and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the movie.

I know not everybody was enamoured with the film when it came out, but I couldn’t get enough of it.

I was argue that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is one of my favourite MCU movies because it was just so much fun.

Anyway, James Gunn has revealed via Twitter that Baby Groot was a bit of a potty mouth in the movie.

According to the writer and director, Baby Groot has the F word at least 50 times in the movie.

Here’s what Gunn said when he was asked how me might be able to get ‘F bombs’ into Marvel movies:

Generally you can get away with one “fuck” in a PG-13 film if it’s used in a non-sexual way (i.e. “Fuck, that hurts” is okay but “She fucked her boyfriend” is not). Unless it’s in Groot, because Baby Groot drops about 50 f-bombs in Guardians 2.

I love learning little things like this about the Marvel movies and more specifically, James Gunn’s films.
