James Gun Has Confirmed An Adorable Baby Groot Fan Theory

James Gunn has just confirmed one of the most adorable Baby Groot fan theories on Twitter and its made this Guardians of the Galaxy fan very happy.

First off, I love the fact that James Gunn is so responsive to fans on social media.

He regularity answers fans’ questions about movies and he also hosts fan Q&As pretty regularly on his Instagram account.

The writer/filmmaker has now responded to someone’s question about their child’s Baby Groot fan theory.

Gunn actually took to the time to make this fan theory cannon which is just another one of the many reasons why I think he’s so great.

Elizabeth Purvis asked Gunn whether he 7-year old’s Baby Groot fan theory was correct.

Her child thought that Baby Groot is actually eating some sweets out of the pot he was growing in.

Gunn then responded via Twitter and claimed that he liked the fan theory and that he thinks it’s true.

I like that theory, so let’s say yes. And you can tell your 7-year-old she invented it.

So, that’s now canon. Baby Groot is indeed eating sweets out of the pot he was growing in.

Incidentally, Gunn is currently finishing off The Suicide Squad and will then start work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
