Pierce Brosnan has revealed he would like to return to the James Bond franchise, but only if he gets to play a villain in the movie.
Personally, I think this would be a great idea because Brosnan is a fantastic actor.
I also believe would do a great job as a villain in a Bond movie.
He’s played a villain before in a few movies and was really quite impressive.
I remember watching him in Netflix’s The Foreigner and also in The Ghost Writer and thinking he was really good at playing the villain.
He revealed this during a recent watch party he did of his first James Bond movie, GoldenEye.
The watch party was hosted on Esquire UK’s social media channels and it was really interesting watching the movie with him.
He gave a lot of insights into his time as Bond and how they struggled to get GoldenEye made.
Brosnan also revealed his struggles in finally getting to play Bond.

He was originally offered the role in the 80s, but couldn’t get out of his contract for the TV show Remington Steel.
He had to wait until 1995 to play the iconic movie role in GoldenEye, and it turned out to be one of the best Bond movies ever made.
Anyway, here’s what he said when he was asked by a viewer (via MovieWeb) whether he’d ever consider return to the Bond franchise:
Would I return as a villain? If asked, yes! I believe so.
Honestly, I think Bond’s producers should make this happen.
Imagine how hyped people would be if they knew Pierce Brosnan was going to be playing the villain in an upcoming Bond movie.
That would definitely sell tickets.
