Jai Courtney, who was in both 2016’s Suicide Squad and 2021’s The Suicide Squad has called for a Captain Boomerang spinoff movie.
Courtney was on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and whilst on the show, he was asked about the possibility of a Captain Boomerang spinoff film.
Now, I’d be the first admit that I’ve not been a fan of Courtney’s in the past.
However, I do think he’s actually rather good as Captain Boomerang.
I think he was good in both Suicide Squad films and actually, I think I want a Captain Boomerang spinoff film.
Now, I won’t go into spoilers for The Suicide Squad, but all I will say is that it would have to be a prequel.
Should Jai Courtney star in a Captain Boomerang spinoff movie?

Here’s what Jai Courtney said on the matter:
Let’s do it! Get on with it! Let’s go. Let’s give the people what they want!
Jimmy Fallon then asked Courtney whether he would really be up for a standalone Captain Boomerang movie, to which he answered:
Listen. I have a saying. It’s that a Boomerang always comes back. So, I think there’s opportunities galore with him. We could do all of it! TV series, spinoff, whatever you want. Pop up in The Flash… Warner Brothers are out there. They know what’s up.
