Is Ragnarok Season 3 In The Works At Netflix?

Ragnarok Season 2 has just landed on Netflix and people are already wondering when and if Ragnarok Season 3 is in the works or not.

This incredible Norweigian show is unlike anything else on Netflix.

It’s a sort of teen drama/murder mystery/superhero show that blends it all with Norweigian mythology.

Honestly, there nothing like it on Netflix and I would argue that it’s one of their best shows.

So, Ragnarok Season 2 was just released on Netflix.

It’s already shot up to second place in the most-watched TV shows on Netflix as of yesterday.

The only show ahead of it is Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, which is to be expected since that show has a huge following.

It was also just released on Netflix, so Ragnarok had some pretty tough opposition going up against a show like Lucifer.

For all of you who haven’t watched Ragnarok on Netflix yet (and if you haven’t, what’s stopping you), here is a brief synopsis:

Ragnarok is a coming-of-age drama building on and contributing to a new and surprising angle on Norse mythology. The series is set in the small, fictitious town of Edda, situated in the grand, breathtaking Norwegian nature. The story revolves around the inhabitants of Edda, who are perhaps not all who they claim to be. With them, we experience a drastically changing world: melting poles, warm winters, violent downpours. Some might say we’re headed for yet another Ragnarok. Unless someone intervenes in time…

It’s a bit strange to be reading this article if you haven’t watched the series yet.

Is there a Ragnarok Season3 in the works for Netflix?

As of yet, Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement on whether Ragnarok Season 3 is in the works or not.

However, I have contacted representatives at Netflix for more information on whether Season 3 is happening or not.

I’ll let you know as soon as they let me know anything about Ragnarok Season 3.

However, given the show’s impressive performance on Netflix, I would guess that they’re already working on Season 3.

Netflix doesn’t really have a show quite like Ragnarok in their repertoire.

It’s also in the number one spot in many countries around the world (according to FlixPatrol).

And by that, I don’t just mean the number one TV show, I mean the number one thing on Netflix: movie or series.

It’s number one in Germany, Austria and Norway.

When could Ragnarok Season 3 be released on Netflix?

So, when could Ragnarok Season 3 be released on Netflix if they green light it, which I’m pretty sure they will?

Well, if they end up going into production on Season 3 of the show this summer, then I would suggest that we’d be seeing Ragnarok Season 3 in June 2022.

It takes roughly about a year to make these Netflix shows.

I’m pretty sure that Netflix would also want to take their time on the third season of Ragnarok.

I really hope they greenlight it and get it released within the year because this show is really something special.

We’ll have to wait and see, and again, once I hear anything on this show, I’ll let you know.
