The first “Blumfest” was held today and they announced the continuation of the Insidious franchise with Insidious 5, with Patrick Wilson, taking the helm in the director’s chair.
Wilson, whom has begun to carve a pretty niche career out of successful Horror franchises, Conjuring, Insidious to name a few, is also to star in the film.
There has been no confirmation if Rose Byrne will appear in the movie or reprise her role as Renai Lambert at the current time.
The film will focus on the Lambert family, 10 years after they were last seen, with the young son Josh now in college.
The series has taken just over half a billion ($542m) at the box office around the world so far, and this news promises to whet the appetite of horror fans everywhere.
