It’s being rumoured that the upcoming Indiana Jones 5 movie with Harrison Ford returning could start filming in August 2021. This rumour comes from insider Daniel Richtman’s Patreon page.
This upcoming Indiana Jones movie has been something that fans of the franchise have been looking forward to for quite some time. It was revealed a few months ago that they were going into production on the movie.
But then Coronavirus pandemic hit, and things were pushed back. However, we’re now hearing that Indiana Jones 5 could start shooting in August 2021, which is actually pretty soon.

This comes from insider Daniel Richtman, and he also stated that this was tentative at the moment. He also went on to add that the movie’s release date could be pushed back.
So, what does this mean? Well, it means that we’re going to get an Indiana Jones 5. Disney and Lucasfilm have been very, very keen on getting this movie made.
As it stands, the movie’s release date is pencilled in for July 29th, 2022, however, that could be pushed back. It seems as though getting the movie shot and edited within 12 months is just not giving the movie enough time to be made. They would need at least six more months.

I hope so much that there will be in Indiana Jones 5 with Harrison Ford (Dr Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr), the return of John Rhys-Davies (Sallah), Karen Allen (Marion Ravenwood), Shia LaBeouf (or otherwise a other actor for Henry Jones III “Mutt” Williams), Fred Sorenson (Jock Lindsey), George Harris (Simon Katanga, freighter captain), Eddie Tagoe (Messenger Pirate), Jim Broadbent (Charles Stanforth), Alan Dale (General Robert Ross), Kate Capshaw (Wilhelmina “Willie” Scott) and, in archival footage or deleted scenes, Sean Connery (Dr Henry Jones Sr).
