It’s been revealed by Deadline that the upcoming Indiana Jones 5 movie has just added Mads Mikkelsen to the cast.
It looks like Mads Mikkelsen’s being cast in everything at the moment.
He recently replaced Johnny Depp as Grindlewald in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts 3 movie.
He’s now joining the fifth Indiana Jones film, which is very exciting because Mads is a terrific actor.
I would argue that he’s one of the best actors working in Hollywood today.
There are no details on who he’ll be playing in the movie.
However, my money’s on him playing a rather suspicious individual in the film.
Those tend to be the sorts of characters he plays.
He’s played Le Chiffre in Casino Royale, was Hannibal Lecter in the incredible series, a is about to play Grindelwald, the infamous Harry Potter villain.
Mads Mikkelsen is going to be in Indiana Jones 5
That said, Disney and Lucasfilm could surprise us and he could end up playing a good guy in the Indiana Jones film.
He did play Galen Erso in Rogue One and he was a noble character, even though he was thought to be a villain at first.
As for the fifth Indiana Jones film, it’s being directed by James Mangold, making it the first in the franchise not to be helmed by Steven Spielberg.
It’ll star Harrison Ford, of course, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge who was a recent addition to the cast.
