The odds of Idris Elba playing James Bond after Daniel Craig have just skyrocketed and there’s no real explanation as to why.
There has been a lot of talk about who could play James Bond after Daniel Craig.
Craig’s already revealed that No Time To Die will be his last ever Bond movie.
This means that behind the scenes the producers must be scrambling to find the next actor to play the British Secret Agent.
There have been a whole load of names put in the hat for this very prestigious movie role.
One of those names is Idris Elba, and his odds of playing Bond have just skyrocketed in the past few days

According to Alex Apati of Ladbrokes (via GameRant), Ebla’s odds of getting the role have just significantly increased.
The betting company has an extensive catalogue of actors who could potentially play Bond after Craig.
One of those names is Elba’s, who’s at 10/1 on to be given the role after Craig.
However, there are a couple of other names who are ahead of him in the race to become the next Bond.
The actors currently ahead of him are James Norton who’s at 2/1 on to become the next 007, Sam Heughan at 3/1, and then Elba’s fellow MCU co-star Tom Hiddleson at 5/1.
