Fifteen years after the first film, a sequel to I Am Legend is in the works with Will Smith and Michael B Jordan.
According to Deadline, the sequel will not only bring back Will Smith, but starring alongside him will be Michael B Jordan.
That is some serious star power right there.

Now, if you have seen the first film, you’ll know that SPOILERS, Smith’s character Dr. Robert Neville sacrificed his life to save two others.
So, it begs the question as to when/how Will Smith’s character will factor into the new film?
Will he appear in flashback scenes? Or dream sequences? Or will it transpire that Smith’s character didn’t die after all? So many questions.
Someone who certainly does know the answers to those questions is Akiva Goldsman, who is penning the script for the sequel.
Goldsman wrote the script for the first film along with Mark Protosevich.
As well as starring in the film, both Smith and Jordan are also serving as executive producers.
The first film was directed by Francis Lawrence and went to gross $585.4 million at the box office.
However, the sequel is is yet to find its director.
