It’s being reported that Henry Cavill has signed a three-picture deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to star as Superman in the DC Comics movies.
This news comes from a website called The Culture Nerd and I’m going to be honest here, I’ve never heard of this site before.
However, many other outlets ran with it, and that includes places I really do trust.
Anyway, there’s also the fact that it’s been rumoured for quite sometime now that Henry Cavill was trying to find a way to play Superman again.
It was claimed that he and Warner Bros. Pictures had been deep in discussions for quite some time now.
Well, according to this website, they’ve agreed a three-picture deal for him to return as the Man of Steel in the DC Comics movies.
This means that both he and Ben Affleck aren’t done yet with the DCEU, which is great news as far as I’m concerned.

Henry Cavill first played Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel and I thought he was great in that movie.
He’s then gone on to play the superhero in Batman v Superman and Justice League.
He also almost made a cameo in Shazam!, but they ended up just filming his bottom half.
I’ve said it time and time again that I believe that Cavill is the perfect actor to play Superman.
He’s just been given relatively poor material to work with.
