Henry Cavill Superman will be more joyful in the upcoming Man Of Steel 2, which is exactly what I wanted to hear because Superman should be joyful. This was revealed by Cavill during his recent interview with Josh Horowitz on his podcast, Happy Sad Confused. This makes me very, very happy to hear, and I can’t wait to see this new version of Cavill’s Superman on the big screen.
It was revealed not too long ago that Cavill is going to be coming back for good as Superman in the DC Universe. I’m pretty sure that most of you reading this article right now have seen Black Adam. I mean, I hope you have done. It’s a pretty cool movie and has a good post-credits scene. Now, in case you haven’t seen that scene yet, please, look away now. Anyway, that scene reveals that Cavill is back as Superman, and it’s since been revealed by Cavill himself that there’s a lot to come from his version of the DC Comics superhero. This will include a Superman solo movie, at least, according to recent reports.

So, here’s what Cavill had to say when he was asked by Josh about the future of Superman in the DC Universe and the next Superman movie:
Right now, I can’t share any information. I know. But, if I’m going to be a good partner to everyone, then I have to be able to keep the secrets when the secrets are necessary. So, right now, I can’t share anything. But, in time, in time, I’ll be able to share and everyone will hear all the exciting things to come.
However, Josh pushed him a bit and said that we – the fans – all want a Man Of Steel 2, a solo Superman movie. However, before that, Cavill did share some information about what sort of Superman audiences could expect in the future. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:
The character means so much to me. It’s been five years now. I never gave up hope. It’s amazing to be here now talking about it again. There is such a bright future ahead for the character. I’m so excited to tell a story with an enormously joyful Superman.

So, it does look like Man Of Steel 2 is coming. We’ve heard reports that the movie will be called Superman. I love the idea of this title for the upcoming movie. We’ve also heard reports that his version of Superman will be fighting a very interesting and exciting DC Comics villain.
We had been previously informed that Brainiac was going to be coming to the DC Universe. It was then reported that Brainiac is actually going to be the main villain in the upcoming Man Of Steel sequel. That is very exciting news, and I cannot wait to see it all unfold.
