It’s been revealed that Henry Cavill is in talks to play Superman again, but it won’t be in a Man of Steel 2 movie, which is a bit sad.
Fans, myself included, have been desperate to see Henry Cavill return as Superman in the DC Comics movies.
He’s been very open about wanting to play the character again in a movie.
Cavill has been an excellent Superman.
I would argue he was born to play the role. The only issue has been the films’ scripts have been a bit sub-par.

According to Deadline, Cavill is in talks with Warner Bros. to return as the character in a number of movies.
However, they claim that none of these films will be a standalone Superman movie.
This means that Henry Cavill might not get to play Superman in a Man of Steel 2 movie, which is a great shame.
I’ve been looking forward to seeing Cavill play Superman again in a sequel to Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel.
