Henry Cavill who plays Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher has offered the perfect response to people who have criticised his performance in Season 1 of the show.
Honestly, I know there are a lot of people out there who don’t care much for Henry Cavill’s acting ability, but I genuinely believe he’s one of the best action movie stars of our generation.
I think he does on-screen action better than most actors out there.
I would argue that there are only a handful of actors as good as him, and their names are Tom Cruise and Keanu Reeves.
They are the top three as far as I’m concerned, and a good action-scene actor is what The Witcher needed.
I really enjoyed his performance as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher Season 1, yet he still got his critics.
I would actually say he’s the best thing about the show, however, he’s been forced to respond to the people who’ve criticised his take on the character.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Cavill offered the perfect response to the people who didn’t care for his performance in The Witcher:
I think any of those criticisms, they often lie in things like I was saying, we don’t have the advantage of a long involved conversation or dialogue with Geralt, so they are criticisms which I think I was prepared for. So for me, it’s about seeing that, understanding it, and working out how I can do my job better within the framework provided, how to appease and make those people feel comfortable that I do actually understand this character and love this character just as much as they do.
What a class act Henry Cavill is.
