It’s been revealed that Henry Cavill is not done playing Superman in the DCEU, even though people have been claiming he is.
This news comes to us from our good friends over at Geekosity.
It was revealed that Warner Bros. Pictures had given Bad Robot the go-ahead to work on a Superman movie, however, this one would feature a black version of the character.
It’s being rumoured that this upcoming Superman ‘reboot’ will feature Calvin Ellis as opposed to Clark Kent.
However, this got people thinking that all of this meant Henry Cavill would no longer be playing Superman in the DCEU.

Here’s what Mikey had to say on whether Henry Cavill was hanging up the cape or not:
However, despite online speculation and rage-bait, Henry Cavill isn’t gone. He simply won’t be the Superman in J.J. Abrams’ film. Instead, that would be Calvin Ellis, the Black Superman of Earth-23. I want to emphasize this: Earth-23.
So, it seems as though there are going to be two versions of Superman in the DCEU, and they’ll be Supermen from different Earths.
It also seems as though Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films is going to be really exploring the Multiverse in their upcoming movies, which is really exciting.
