It’s now being rumoured that HBO Max is considering making a Batman: The Animated Series sequel, which is something that fans of the TV show have been waiting for for years now. This rumour comes from Daniel Richtman’s Patreon page.

It was revealed last week that HBO Max was going to be getting both Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond on their streaming platform. Now, with HBO Max only being available in the US at the moment, that means that our readers elsewhere in the world will have to wait until they get to stream the series.

That said, I know Batman: The Animated Series used to be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in the UK. However, I’m not sure if it’s available on there anymore, so it would be nice to have a place to watch the incredible series again.

It seems as though bringing Batman: The Animated Series to HBO Max isn’t all Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics want to do. It’s now being rumoured that they also want to make a sequel series to the 1990s animated show.

This rumour comes from Daniel Richtman, and I really do hope he’s right on this one. The Batman animated series is still one of the best Batman animated shows ever made. It also spawned one of the best Batman films ever made in Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm.
