When Will Ginny And Georgia Season 3 Be Released?

UPDATE: It’s just been revealed that Ginny And Georgia Season 3 and Season 4 have been renewed by Netflix! This means that we’re going to get to watch at least two more seasons of this brilliant show!

This news was revealed by Netflix via their site, Tudum, and it seems as though everybody involved in the show are very, very excited to get to work on the next two seasons of the show. “It feels surreal still,” Antonia Gentry, who plays Georgia’s daughter, Ginny, told Tudum when Season 2 premiered in January. “The show’s success has meant so much to me. More so, just because it’s touched so many people globally.”

The show’s creator Sarah Lampert previously told Tudum that she has the story “all planned out.” The shocking Season 2 finale — which saw Georgia arrested at her own wedding — will directly set the stage for the show’s third season.

“When we had to develop the storyline for Season 2, we knew exactly what we wanted Season 3 to be,” Lampert told Tudum. “Georgia needed to kill someone and she needed to kill someone in Wellsbury, Massachusetts.”

Lampert also added that Season 3 will throw “new hurdles, new relationships and new challenges” at Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia “in a way we haven’t seen before on the show.”

So, one of the best ways we can work out when the third season will be released is by looking at the gap between seasons 1 and 2. It ended up being a 23-month wait between seasons one and two.

I hope it won’t be as long a wait between seasons two and three. Given the fact that we are now coming out of a pandemic, I’m hopeful that it won’t be as long a wait between the second and third seasons.

This is all dependent on whether the third season ends up being renewed or not. I’m pretty confident about the show’s future since it’s been so popular on the streaming platform.
