There has been so much written about Gina Carano over the last few months, and most of it’s been about fans wanting her to be fired from The Mandalorian. Gina has finally opened up about the backlash against her.
She recently spoke to the YouTube channel Drunk 3P0 and she had quite a bit to say about the whole thing. She’s been heavily criticised for supposedly mocking trans people on Twitter and for voicing support for the conspiracy theory claiming that there was mass voter fraud in the recent US elections.
Recently, people spotted that she was liking tweets of people supporting the recent storm on the Capitol in Washington D.C.. Honestly, if all of this is indeed true, then I am a bit surprised that Disney hasn’t just written her character out. It seems like the opposite is happening as Gina Carano’s The Mandalorian character, Cara Dune, is reportedly going to feature heavily in the Star Wars show’s spinoffs.

Here’s what Gina Carano had to say about the calls to have her fired from The Mandalorian:
I’m going to stick around and if my presence bothers you, OK, but also a lot of people are not bothered by my Twitter presence or my social media presence. So I focus more on those people. I bring the fire out in people. I’m not sure why.
