It’s being reported that The Flash movie might end up featuring George Clooney returning as his version of Batman, which would be pretty darn crazy! There has been a lot of chatter online about this upcoming movie and the reports that Clooney could be turning up as his version of the Dark Knight.
We already know that the movie is going to feature Michael Keaton’s Batman. However, it’s now being reported that Keaton’s time in the movie has been significantly reduced. There have also been reports suggesting that Keaton’s Batman has been ‘removed’ from the movie’s ending.
There have been so many rumours about this movie, and it’s hard to know what to believe and what to discard as just total rubbish. However, this new report sounds very intriguing and it’s also rather ambiguous.

So, let’s go over where this report comes from. It all stems from YouTuber, Grace Randolph, who’s claiming that the movie is going to have a barnstorming finale which will feature a former Batman actor returning as their version of the Dark Knight.
Grace seems to be suggesting that it’s either going to be George Clooney or Christian Bale. However, people seem to think that it’s more likely that Clooney will be returning as the Dark Knight rather than Bale.
Why, you ask? Because of what Bale’s said in the past about returning as Batman. He basically said that he would only come back to the role if Christopher Nolan was involved. Nolan is not involved in The Flash movie, so Clooney might be the more obvious contender for a return as the Dark Knight.
However, it would be a rather odd tonal shift to see his slightly quirky take on Batman in this Flash movie. Anyway, here’s what Randolph had to say on the matter:

A lot of people have also been talking about Christian Bale potentially coming back as his version of Batman in this movie. That would be incredible, and personally, I would rather see him return to the role.
However, something tells me that he just won’t want to do it. That’s just my opinion based on what he’s said in the past. He also said that he’d never star in another superhero movie, and then he played Gorr The God Butcher in Thor: Love And Thunder, so what do I know…
We’re just going to have to wait and see what ends up happening with the movie. I’ve heard lots of good things about the Andy Muschietti DC Comics movie. I hope it’s as good as the rumours are claiming it is.
