We have a new Doctor Strange 2 rumour and it involves Fox’s original X-Men. This rumour comes from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity, and if you’ve been following along you know he has a very good track record.
Mikey Sutton revealed today that according to his sources, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios want Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness’ ah, well, multiverse to go beyond Sony’s original Spider-Man films.
This makes a lot of sense as Kevin Feige was an associate producer on Fox’s X-Men (2000) and co-producer on the sequel, X2 (2003). It’s understandably close to his heart.
Sounds like Fox’s X-Men could feature in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

Here’s what Mikey Sutton had to say about how Fox’s Original X-Men Could Appear In Marvel’s Doctor Strange 2:
They reveal there are discussions to feature cameos by members of the first X-Men cast, basically a fond farewell to the past as the MCU proceeds to the future with rebooted mutants of their own. There are no decisions made on which actors will be brought back or if negotiations have begun yet.
Sutton then goes on to say that the chances of Hugh Jackman appearing for a cameo-like this are slim, however, if they are going to land Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine it would have to be for a much bigger role. Sutton has written in the past that Marvel wants Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine in some capacity.
