After the events of Obi-Wan Kenobi, fans have been taking to the Internet to say that Yoda is the biggest coward in the Star Wars universe.

I can understand why some people might think that Yoda was a big of a coward after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge Of The Sith.

Yoda quickly went into hiding and made a little (very little) home on Dagobah to hide from the Empire.

I actually think he was actively hiding from the Emperor and also Darth Vader – although, I’m not so sure whether he really feared Vader.

I do believe, personally, that Yoda was just biding his time and waiting for Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia to show up.

Is Yoda really a coward?

However, there are many fans that believe Yoda was a huge coward, and they explained themselves pretty well.

A fan on r/StarWars has claimed that Yoda was a coward and the clearest evidence of that fact was his self-imposed exile on Dagobah in the wake of Revenge of the Sith.

The argument goes that Yoda left at the first sign of trouble and didn’t lift a clawed finger to assist the Jedi fleeing from the Empire after Order 66.

He didn’t try to save the remaining Jedi and he didn’t assist the Rebel Alliance with his centuries of experience.

There is actually a non-canon Star Wars comic called Infinities in which a more active Yoda helps the Rebel Alliance to infiltrate the Death Star.

Fans seem to want to see that version of Yoda over the one that we ended up getting.

Here’s what the Reddit user had to say about Yoda in the Star Wars movies:

Yoda was a terrible leader who led his people to ruin, then fled and hid with things fell apart because of him. Not sure if he ever owned up to his mistakes or not.
