Famke Janssen has teased her possible return as Jean Grey in the upcoming Deadpool And Wolverine (Deadpool 3) movie, which I think would be really cool to see! She’s been talking about Jean Grey quite a bit over the past few months. It really seems as though people are desperate to see her return to the role since they keep on asking her about it. However, she has been playing rather coy over a potential cameo as her X-Men character in the third Deadpool movie.
So, when did Janssen tease her potential return as Phoenix in the MCU Deadpool movie? Well, she was asked about it during a recent interview with ComicBook.com. During that interview, which was in order to promote her next movie Boy Kills World, she was asked whether she would be making an appearance in Deadpool And Wolverine. Here’s what she had to say on the matter:
I don’t know. I doubt it, but you never know. I mean, I didn’t expect to come back after dying as Jean Grey. I came back as the Phoenix [in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand], and I came back in flashback scenes in The Wolverine, and then in Days of Future Past.

So, this isn’t a “yes, I’m going to be in the movie!”, but it’s not an outright “no, I’m not in the movie!” answer either. It’s somewhere in the middle, and my guess is that she has filmed something for the film, but she’s unsure whether she’ll be in the final edit or not and doesn’t want to get people’s hopes up.
She’s basically being professional about the whole thing. She wouldn’t be able to tell the interviewer either way. We all know that these actors are under strict embargoes when it comes to Marvel Studios movies. If she did say anything about the film, Kevin Feige would have something to say about it.
