We’ve been informed by insider sources that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are going to make Spider-Man 4 before a live-action Spider-Verse film.
There is so much supposed information out there about the upcoming Spider-Man movies.
There have been reports that Spider-Man 3 will feature Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Now, I have read these reports, but I will make it clear that no one has told me this.
My sources told me that they had agreed to star in future Spider-Man movies, not Spider-Man 3.
Anyway, this sort of stuff happens in the scoops game, and I’m sticking to my sources.
I’ve now been told by a few people working in the industry that Sony and Marvel Studios are already working on a script for Spider-Man 4.
The interesting this is that this is not for a live-action Spider-Verse movie.

Here’s what I was told by one of my sources who agreed to be quoted on this:
Marvel and Sony have been talking Spider-Man 4. They’re already working on the script and word around here is that it won’t be a Spider-Verse film.
Another source, separate from the first one, added:
Spider-Man 4 won’t be a live-action Spider-Verse film. Those reports are false. The script’s being written as we speak, and Marvel and Sony are very excited about it.
This source then went on to state that at the moment, Tom Hardy’s Venom is in this version of the script:
Venom is in this current version of the script, and it’s Tom Hardy’s version of Venom.
It will not be a Spider-Verse movie

Again, I always ask my sources whether they mind being direct quoted or not.
Some of them say yes, others say no.
Two of the sources who came forward mentioned Venom being in this current draft of the Spider-Man 4 script.
So, it seems as though Marvel and Sony are more focused on bringing Tom Hardy’s Venom and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man together before bringing the past Spider-Men.
This does make sense to me since Hardy’s Venom is already pretty established in the Sony part of the MCU.
They will have to bring them together at some point, and then something must happen in order to make Hardy’s Venom despise Spider-Man.
That is, if they go with the comic book version of Venom, who has a hatred of Spider-Man, yet they do end up working together.

According to my sources, this Spider-Man 4 movie will be more focused around Spider-Man and Venom.
This is something that Sony Pictures has been really keen on doing for quite some time.
They could also end up bringing in Jared Leto’s Morbius and Michael Keaton’s Vulture further down the line.
I wasn’t told whether they would also be in this movie or not.
There have been rumours that Madame Webb will also feature in this film.
This seems to indicate that the idea, as my sources have previously stated to me, that they gearing up for a big Spider-Verse live-action movie.
As far as Maguire and Garfield are concerned, Marvel and Sony might be interested in tieing them down as soon as possible.
It almost seems as though the Spider-Verse movie is going to be a big part of Marvel’s plans moving forward.
