We’ve been told that Spider-Man 3’s main villain will be Norman Osborn as The Green Goblin, which sounds like a good fit to us.
An insider source confirmed that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have been casting for the role.
As it stands, this will be the Norman Osborn version of the character.
It was revealed earlier today that Spider-Man 3 will officially introduce Oscorp Industries, and in turn, that will bring Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn into the picture.
We already know that Doctor Strange will be part of this next Spider-Man movie.
What our insider source told us about the movie is that he and Spider-Man will end up travelling through the Multiverse together after an Oscorp experiment goes wrong.
Please, bear in mind that we received this from an insider source, but I will be honest with you here, this is a new source and I can’t validate their claims.
That said, before carrying on reading this article, I must warn you that there could be SPOILERS for Spider-Man 3 ahead.
This experiment will end up opening up a portal to the Multiverse.
However, the portal will become unstable and Spider-Man will only just manage to flee the scene after trying to save Norman.

This is what brings Doctor Strange onto the scene and he will attempt to close the portal in order to save their universe from being pulled into the Multiverse and torn up into nothingness.
So, this means that this Spider-Man movie will see Peter Parker facing the biggest stakes he’s ever faced in a Spider-Man movie.
What we were told is that something will happen to Norman whilst he’s in the Multiverse.
However, he will be saved by Doctor Strange and Spider-Man together.
Norman will be struggling with a new split personality.
He’ll be half Norman and half something else.
That ‘something else’ will reveal itself to be The Green Goblin.
Towards the end of the movie, fuelled with a hatred of Spider-Man and egged on by this new personality (the Green Goblin), he’ll end up using a serum he developed to create super soldiers on himself.
This is when Doctor Strange and Spider-Man will attempt to stop The Green Goblin from destroying everything in Spider-Man’s life.
Spider-Man 3 will also feature Electro

It’s also been revealed that Jamie Foxx will be returning to the Spider-Man universe.
As it stands, it’s believed he’s going to be playing Electro in the movie.
It seems as though this will be the case.
However, it wasn’t made clear to us whether he will be playing the same version of the villain he played in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or not.
As far as we can tell, he won’t be.
Yet, that remains to be seen.
We were also told that Spider-Man 3 will be called Spider-Man: Homesick, which sounds like a nice way to round off this ‘Home’ Spider-Man trilogy.

The Green Goblin is one of Peter Parker and Spider-Man’s biggest foes in the comics and it seems as though he will be in this movie.
We already know, thanks to the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, that his real identity has been revealed by J. Jonah Jameson.
However, it seems as though that will be quickly dealt with at the beginning of this movie.
We haven’t been told how, yet our best guess is that it might have something to do with Doctor Strange.
We’ll let you know if we get any more information about what might happen.
