EXCLUSIVE: Dan Stevens In Talks With Marvel Studios To Join The MCU In An Undisclosed Role

We’ve been informed by an insider source that British actor Dan Stevens and Marvel Studios are deep in talks to bring him into the MCU.

Dan Stevens has already been part of one Marvel property in the TV show, Legion.

He played the lead character in the incredible show which aired on FX and was created by Noah Hawley.

If you were to ask me which is the best Marvel series to date, I wouldn’t immediately say Legion.

It’s very strange and rather difficult to follow.

However, it’s by far the most ambitious and interesting Marvel series ever made.

The thing is, it’s not part of the MCU.

20th Century Fox owned the rights to the X-Men Marvel characters, and David Haller, a.k.a. Legion was one of those characters.

One of the big reasons why the show amassed such a devout following was Stevens’ performance as Haller.

And, it seems as though Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige noticed.

Now, we’ve been informed by an insider source that Feige wants to bring Stevens into the MCU.

However, we were not told whether it would be to play Legion or another Marvel character.

The idea of bringing Dan Stevens over to the MCU as Legion is an interesting one.

With the news that Jamie Foxx is returning to the Spider-Man films, possibly as Electro (although, our source told us he’s really going to be playing Moon Knight), anything can happen.

Stevens’ Legion is technically part of the 20th Century Fox X-Men universe.

However, Disney now owns Fox and therefore Marvel Studios has the rights to the X-Men back, including Legion.

It has to be said that Stevens is more than capable of playing a number of interesting Marvel characters.

I’ve always thought that Stevens would be an excellent choice to play Iron Fist.

However, he’s shown in movies like The Guest that he’s also more than capable of playing a nasty villain.

Should Marvel and Feige cast Stevens in the MCU, there’d have one of the most talented actors working in Hollywood today.

I have reached out to Marvel Studios and Disney for comment on this story.

However, I have yet to get a response from either movie studio.
