It’s been revealed to us by multiple sources that WarnerMedia has managed to get Ben Affleck to sign onto Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2.
We had previously reported that Zack Snyder was already working on a Justice League 2 that would be coming to HBO Max.
It now seems as though WarnerMedia is really keen on getting the ball rolling with this upcoming sequel.
They’re already spending upwards of $70 million on this Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.
His Justice League four-part series is reportedly going to be coming to HBO Max early-to-mid 2021.
They’re now trying to get stars signed onto Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2 which is currently in the script phase.
I was told late last week that Snyder had been given the green light on the Justice League sequel.
He’s currently writing the script with Chris Terrio.
Well, now, we’re being told by multiple sources that Ben Affleck has agreed to star in it as Batman.

Here’s what one of my sources told me about Ben Affleck agreeing to star as Batman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2:
The deal has been signed. Ben Affleck is going to be returning as Batman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2.
Another source added:
Ben Affleck and WarnerMedia have agreed on a deal that will see him star as the Dark Knight in Justice League 2.
This was confirmed to me by multiple other sources, yet they didn’t agree to being quoted directly.
However, one of them did also reveal that Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller were also all in talks.
So, it seems as though WarnerMedia is keen to keep things going on these Zack Snyder DC Comics movies.
This is quite interesting since they aren’t cheap to make.

It’s also interesting that they’re opting to release these almost as series on HBO Max.
What I’ve been told by multiple sources is that WarnerMedia is viewing these Justice League four-part series almost as event TV shows.
It was described to me by as source as being their new Game of Thrones.
Therefore, it makes sense to have these Justice League four-part event series come to HBO Max as opposed to being released in cinemas.
It’ll increase HBO Max’s subscriber base, which is something they really do need.
What I want to know is when HBO Max will come to other markets outside the US.
According to AT&T, HBO Max had 8.6 million activated subscribers on September 30, 2020.
They would definitely hope to see that number go up the minute these DC Comics shows are made available.
Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot are reportedly also in talks for Justice League 2

It also shows that WarnerMedia is starting to think of other ways of making money through entertainment.
The cinema industry has taken a huge hit due to COVID-19.
Moreover, releasing what would be a tentpole movie on streaming services still isn’t a viable means of income.
You won’t be able to make the amounts of money releasing a Justice League 2 on HBO Max that you would be able to by releasing in cinemas.
However, you will be able to build a huge subscriber base.
There could also be the option of a cinematic release further down the line, which will help boost income.
What I’ve been told by my sources is that WarnerMedia is trying to think of new ways of generating income.

I was told that they see this dual release strategy as something that could bring in a lot of money moving forward.
They’ll be ensuring a steady stream of revenue each month through subscriptions and still get money from releasing cinematic cuts of these Justice League movies in theatres.
