Right, OK, so, there’s some news about those Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Fantastic Four casting rumours, and it comes from Blunt herself.
Emily Blunt opened up about the casting rumours during a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show.
She seemed pretty candid about the whole thing, but we all know by now that actors are very good at, well… acting.
So, she could just be keeping her being cast in the Fantastic Four movie a secret from the general public.
What I will say before I go into what Blunt revealed during the interview, is that we were told that talks between Emily Blunt and Marvel had broken down already.
We won’t know the whole story until the film’s cast is officially revealed.

Here’s what Emily Blunt had to say when she was asked about the Fantastic Four casting rumours:
That is fan-casting. No one has received a phone call. That’s just people saying, ‘Wouldn’t that be great?’
Howard then suggested that Blunt might be too good an actress to take a role like Sue Storm seriously and consider superhero movies beneath her.
Blunt then responded:
It’s not that it’s beneath me. I love Iron Man and when I got offered Black Widow I was obsessed with Iron Man. I wanted to work with Robert Downey Jr.—it would’ve been amazing … but I don’t know if superhero movies are for me. They’re not up my alley. I don’t like them. I really don’t.
However, Blunt did admit that some of these superhero films have left her feeling “a bit cold.” She then added:
It’s been exhausted. We are inundated—it’s not only all the movies, it’s the endless TV shows as well. It’s not to say that I’d never want to play one, it would just have to be something so cool and like a really cool character, and then I’d be interested.
