Elite Season 6 Release Date Revealed

Elite Season 6 is coming, and we’re not going to have to wait very long before the new season of the show is available to watch on Netflix. It was revealed at Tudum – Netflix’s global fan event – that the upcoming season of the Spanish series will be released in November – November 18th to be exact.

This series has been a huge hit on Netflix, and I think it was one of the shows that really started this wave of great Netflix shows that aren’t in the English language. When Elite was released, we also saw Money Heist, Who Killed Sara, Cable Girls, House Of Flowers, Valeria and Top Boy to name but a few of the hugely popular Spanish-language shows that have popped up on Netflix since the likes of Elite and Money Heist were released.

There was a lot of interest in the new video that Netflix shared during its Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event. During the event, viewers got a peek at a mysterious censored video. You can have a look at the exclusive clip of Elite Season 6 that was released during the Netflix fan event. I must warn you, it’s rather steamy!

So, what’s going to happen in Elite Season 6? That’s the big question that fans of the show are desperate to have answered. Well, following the death of yet another student (how has this school not been shut down yet…?), Las Encinas enters a new school year determined to cover up for its scandalous past.

However, it seems as though in Season 6, conflicts will continue as racism, sexism, domestic abuse and homophobia run rampant in the halls of the prestigious institution. If the people who are supposedly in charge of the school don’t take action fast, the students will be forced to take it upon themselves to sort out all the issues.

As for who’s going to be returning for Season 6, we’re going to see Ander Puig (Ser o no ser, El trayecto), Carmen Arrufat (HIT, La inocencia), Álvaro de Juana (HIT, Luimelia), Ana Bokesa (Capítulo Cero, La que se avecina) and Álex Pastrana (Welcome to Edén, Los protegidos). Other returning cast members for season six also include Elite veterans such as André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, Adam Nourou and Manu Ríos.

So, we now know that the next season of Elite (season six), will be released all at once on November 18th, which really isn’t too far away. We still don’t know for sure whether the sixth season will be the show’s final season. However, Netflix France did reveal in an Instagram post that Elite’s sixth season will be the last of the series. That said, a few days after that post was shared, Netflix France edited the caption and deleted the part that stated season 6 as the last in the series

I suppose we’re kind of back to square one on that one. I’m not sure whether Netflix France’s Instagram caption is really the confirmation that we’re looking for that Elite Season 6 will be the show’s final season. However, I must say that it’s pretty odd that they would write that and then take it down. I wonder whether a community manager somewhere ended up getting into some hot water for that caption. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s going to happen with this show on Netflix.
