It’s been revealed that Marvel Studios is looking at Sam Raimi to director Doctor Strange 2.
We’re now hearing he wants Tobey Maguire to cameo in his movie.
Doctor Strange 2, also known as Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, could end up featuring Maguire’s Spider-Man turn up in a cameo appearance.
It’s being reported by We Got This Covered that Sam Raimi wants Tobey Maguire to cameo in the movie.
He wants him to turn up as his version of Spider-Man in the movie.
There is a way this could work, and it all has to do with the Multiverse.
It’s a well-known fact that this Doctor Strange sequel will see the Multiverse be introduced in the MCU.
The title gives that little aspect away, but it’s about time the Multiverse makes an appearance in the Marvel movies.
It might end up confusing some audience members because it gives Marvel Studio the possibility to bring back dead MCU characters.

This means that the introduction of the Multiverse could bring back Black Widow or even Tony Stark.
It also means it could bring in all the previous Marvel movies made outside of the MCU within Marvel Studios’ films.
This could be how they bring in the likes of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.
They could also bring in Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man from The Amazing Spider-Man movies.
I think there’s scope to make a really interesting movie involving all of the Marvel movie characters.
That could end up being the next Avengers movie.
We could see Deadpool, three Spider-Men, the X-Men (old and new) and the MCU characters all fight evil in one big blockbuster.
Wouldn’t that be awesome? I really think it would be.
What do you think? Do you think Tobey Maguire will cameo in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange 2?
