With the news that Sam Raimi is going to be directing Doctor Strange 2 people have been trying to figure out who Bruce Campbell might play in the movie.
This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources who do have sketchy track-record in ‘breaking news’.
Their sources claim that Sam Raimi wants to cast Bruce Campbell as a “one of Mephisto’s forms” in Doctor Strange 2.
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell have worked together on a number of occasions.
It all goes back to when Campbell starred in the first Evil Dead movie.
He’s then starred in the other two Evil Dead movies and camoed in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies.

It would be really interesting to see Campbell turn up as a version of Mephisto in Doctor Strange 2.
The character was inspired by the Mephisto of the Faust legend and introduced into the comics by Stan Lee and John Buscema.
He could definitely change his form and therefore be played by multiple actors in the MCU.
It would be fun to see him crop up in Doctor Strange 2 and have Campbell play the role.
Fingers crossed, this rumour is true because I think Campbell would be perfect in the role.
