Marvel Studios Reportedly Wants To Make Doctor Doom The MCU’s Darth Vader

There are now rumours that Marvel Studios wants to make Doctor Doom the MCU’s Darth Vader and we think it’s a pretty good idea.

What is Marvel Studios going to do with Doctor Doom now that Marvel Studios has the rights to the character back?

A while ago it was looking like Noah Hawley was going to be writing and directing a Doctor Doom movie.

However, that was back when Fox had the movie rights to the character.

Therefore, it’s safe to assume that Hawley’s movie’s been scrapped.

However, according to We Got This Covered, Marvel Studios has big plans for the character.

They report that Marvel wants to turn Doctor Doom into the MCU’s Darth Vader.

At first glance, I thought that this sounds like a great idea.

However, then I thought about it for a bit and I came to the conclusion that this would be the wrong way to tackle the villain.

In the comics, Doctor Doom is always his own boss.

One of the big points about Darth Vader is that he’s merely a tool for the Emperor.

I don’t like the idea of Doctor Doom just being a tool to instigate fear in people.

I don’t want Doctor Doom to have to answer to anybody.
