It’s been revealed that Disney Plus is going to come to India tomorrow, April 3rd, and it’s about time the new streaming platform arrived in India.
I’m going to be honest here, Disney’s release of their streaming service, Disney Plus, has been a bit… well… strange.
The streaming platform was first released in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and for some reason, The Netherlands.
It was only just released in the UK and other European territories, which is months after it was first released in places like the US and Australia.
It’s now been revealed that Disney Plus will be coming to India on April 3rd, which is tomorrow.
The streaming service was originally intended to released in India on March 29th.

However, the Coronavirus pandemic kind of got in the way of the launch and they had to delay it.
But, thankfully Disney Plus has come to all the people living in India and that is a huge market for Disney.
From tomorrow customers in India will have access to a streaming service called Disney+ Hotstar.
This is the combination/rebranding of two different services.
Hotstar is the most popular streaming service in all of India, with over 400 million downloads throughout the entire country.
Hotstar was owned by Fox, and it ended up becoming part of Disney when they acquired Fox last year.
