Disney has announced something new on Disney Plus called STAR where they’ll be putting their 18+ content.
This is something that’s been rumoured for a while, and it also means that there’s a lot new content coming to Disney Plus.
The likes of Logan, Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and Alien are all coming to Disney Plus via STAR, which is going to be a password-protected area of Disney Plus, so those little kids can’t access it.
This was announced at today’s Disney Investor call which was full of new announcements, including the fact that they’re raising the price by 2 euros in Europe and 2 pounds in the UK.

So, this means that we are going to be able to watch some of the R-rated Disney and 20th Century Fox movies that Disney now owns.
Up until now, we haven’t been able to watch these movies on Disney Plus.
Some viewers have been rather annoyed by this, and have been demanding that Disney bring the content to either Hulu or Disney Plus.
It looks like they’re going to be bringing it to Disney Plus via STAR.
They didn’t reveal when STAR would be coming exactly, but it should be arriving sometime in 2021.
So, it’s not that far away. More news on this story as it develops.
