It’s been revealed that Disney has just cancelled the DuckTales animated series after three seasons on Disney XD. This was revealed by Collider’s Associate Editor, Drew Taylor on Twitter, and people are really upset by the news.
There are so many fans of the animated show and they’ve taken to Twitter in droves to try and get Disney to go back on its decision to cancel the show, which was brought back in 2017. There are also many people who believe Disney is also going to cancel the Big Hero 6 series on Disney XD, which is one of their best shows as far as I’m concerned.
Full disclosure, I’ve never watched the DuckTales series, but I have heard many people tell me that it’s a brilliant show. Therefore, I’ll be watching it from Season 1 on Disney Plus, which is where it’s available to watch in the UK and the rest of Europe (just in case you were thinking of watching it).

I love seeing the #RenewDuckTales2017 hashtag but regretfully inform you that the show is very much done and has been done for a little while now. Not sure why Disney Channel has yet to announce this, but it’s the truth. pic.twitter.com/AAyaXUorBA

It’s really sad to see Disney make this decision. People were so excited when the show was brought back in 2017. The first run of the show aired on Disney back in 1987 to 1990.

Drew Taylor is not attached to the show, he is a speculating ‘journalist’ from a 3rd party internet news medium.
I’m super upset about this, I just recently got really invested in this amazing reboot and now I’m upset.
