Deborah Ann Woll Back As Karen Page In Daredevil: Born Again

It’s being reported that Daredevil: Born Again will bring back Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, which is something that fans have wanted to see for a while. This report comes to us via a new scooper on the block who goes by the name of Culture Spider. Their scoops are focused on all things Spider-Man and Daredevil-related. They claim that Foggy Nelson and Karen Page will return in the upcoming Disney Plus series.

We already know that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are going to be returning to their respective roles for this upcoming Marvel Studios Disney Plus series. There have even been reports that Elden Henson is going to be returning to the series as Foggy Nelson. The only actor from the original series’ main cast that has been up in the air is Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page. Will she get to play the role again? Well, the signs are good that she will!

Culture Spider took to Twitter to reveal that both Foggy Nelson and Karen Page will be returning in the upcoming Daredevil series. That’s great news, but the tweet doesn’t mention whether Henson and Woll will be returning to play these roles or not. However, there have been reports that Marvel Studios might be looking to recast Page, which I think would be really unfair.

Fans have already made it very clear that they want to see Woll back as Karen in the upcoming series. It seems as though the fans are not alone in believing that she deserves to reprise the role she played in the original Netflix series. Charlie Cox also revealed that he wants to see Woll return. At the recent German Comic Con Winter Edition, Cox was asked about Matt’s chemistry with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s Jennifer Walters as well as with Karen Page.

Cox replied that he doesn’t believe “it gets more deep than Karen Page,” giving a shout-out to Woll in the process. He also added that while he didn’t know about the rest of the characters from Daredevil, Karen and Foggy were a huge reason for the show’s success. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

I was saying this to Elden yesterday…I don’t know what’s going to happen with the other characters in the new show, but I know for a fact that Elden and Deborah were the heartbeat of what we did before, and the show is a success because of them.

So, if Culture Spider’s scoop is correct, then it does seem as though Karen and Foggy will both be reunited with Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock in the upcoming Disney Plus series. All we need now is the official confirmation from Marvel Studios!

Daredevil: Born Again is set to be released on Disney Plus in the Spring of 2024.
