It’s been revealed that Disney’s Death On The Nile is going to be released theatrically in China which is rather rare for these sorts of movies (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Getting a movie released in China is not easy for Hollywood movies.
There’s a quota of films that are allowed to be released in the country every year (34 to be exact) and getting your film into that list is nigh on impossible.
There are a bunch of criteria that the film has to adhere to in order to be released in the Chinese market.
